- Continue to focus on security controls as they relate to endpoints (PCs), users, and perimeter defenses.
- Have not kept up with data encryption.
- Are late adopters of continuous monitoring.
- Lack the rights skills and tools in some cases.
When combined, these deficiencies leave health care organizations far more vulnerable to advanced malware or insider attacks than those from other industries.
